Where are you located?

We’re are lucky enough to be nestled on a quiet back street opposite the airport grounds and only a stone’s throw from the tarmac, With great access to the terminals via Fauntleroy Ave.

With the road closure of Brearley ave in Jan 2017 Fauntleroy ave is now the best entrance off the Great Eastern hwy .

International and New Virgin Terminal T1 & T2

With all Virgin flights operating from Terminals 1 & 2 ( International) , we will be operating set times for transfers for customers departing  with Virgin,  starting at 5am weekdays and operating on demand every 20 mins.

Also the Airport’s Inter-Terminal Connect bus service will run every 20 mins. Customers will have an option of going over every 10 minutes either with the Connect Bus or our Hamer Bus. Returning customers flying with Virgin will need to catch the Connect Bus back to the domestic for collection by us.

Do I have to call to make a booking?

Nope! Hamer Airport Parking makes things easy! You can just turn up in your vehicle and we will take it from there.

If you would like the peace of mind, we can certainly take your booking details over the phone or you can make a booking online right now.

What are your rates?

Secure Open Air parking: For the first 3 days we charge $15 per day. Every day after that is $10  per day.

Secure Undercover parking is: $25 per day for the first 3 days then $12 per day.

Undercover Motorcycle parking is: $25 for the first day then $5 per day, $60 for 8 days and $95 for 15 days.

 

What are your Opening Hours?

Weekdays from 4:30 am till 10pm and 8am till 6pm on the Weekends.

How much time should I allow to get to the airport from parking my car with you?

Being located such a short distance from the main terminals T3 & T4 we ask customers to allow 5 minutes. We leave immediately on demand whenever required.

Allow approx 15 minutes for Transfers to T1 & T2

What do I need to do and how long does it take once I arrive at your office?

Once you have pulled into a bay you can start unloading any luggage you are taking with you. Then at the front counter we will ask you to write on the envelope provided, your return date and time, plus the name of the person picking up the vehicle. Once we have that and your car keys, hop into our Bus and let the driver know which airline you are flying with today.

Which Airlines & Terminals do your service?

All the Regional & Charter Airlines, Domestic T3 & T4 plus the New Virgin Terminals T1 & T2

Can we drop off and pick up vehicles outside of your open hours?

Yes you’re more than welcome to fill in an envelope at our counter and place that with your keys in our after hours key safe. For pick-up. for example if your flight is delayed. We can txt you a lock box code so you can retrieve your keys and get access to your vehicle or if arranged prior we will give you a key to your own lock box at our counter.

What if I don’t know my return date?

That’s fine; we will park your vehicle in our TBA bays. We ask that you let the office know of your return details 24 hours prior to your arrival where possible.

Do all the vehicles stay on site?

Yes, all vehicles stay on site unless authorized by the owner for servicing etc.

Do you offer car servicing?

Yes, we have a relationship with our local Automasters Mechanic in Belmont. Call Shane on 94782733 to discuss any work that needs to be done on your vehicle while you are away.

Do you offer car washing and detailing?

Yes!

We have a new partnership with Eco Amigo Detailing offering packages ranging from $90 to $250 for a full professional detail.

The mobile service works on site uses no water and offers the highest standard in car cleaning.

What security and insurance do you offer?

We ask that you check your own insurance policy for coverage while your car is parked/stored with us. We have a policy that covers any staff moving your vehicle. We don’t discuss our security details but you might notice our guard dog and security cameras when you’re booking in at our office.

Do you have child seats in the Valet Bus?

We don’t provide child seats or extra restraints but our vehicles have the same exemptions as Taxis & Buses.

The requirements relating to child restraints and where children can sit in vehicles have changed.

While drivers of taxis and Omnibuses will be exempt from most of the requirements, drivers will be required to:

  • Ensure that available child restraints are utilised (therefore, if there are no child restraints available, the driver is exempt from this requirement).
  • Ensure that a child under 7 years of age is not in the front row of a vehicle that has 2 or more rows of seats (however, it is permissible for a child aged between 4 to 7 to sit in the front only when all rear rows are occupied by passengers under 7).

Drivers will continue to be responsible for ensuring passengers between the ages of 7 and 16 years are appropriately restrained. Drivers were previously responsible for ensuring that passengers between the ages of 1 and 16 years were appropriately restrained.

How do I Pay?

You can pay on drop off if you know your return date or on pick up; whichever suits you best. We take cash, credit cards and eftpos.

Do I have to leave my car keys?

We will need 1 set of keys to move your vehicle behind the security gates or roller door where it will be parked in date order of return and keys locked away in our office.

Do you offer discount for miners/pensioners?

No. We try and offer everyone the best price possible and pride ourselves on keeping our costs lower than the unsecure public car park, while still offering all the trimmings and service of picking up and dropping off on demand, jumping any flat batteries, pumping flat tyres etc.

What happens if my scheduled flight is delayed and arrives after 10pm?

Ring our office to arrange payment and receive lock box details. If we are closing and have not heard from you, we can send a txt msg to your mobile with details of how to retrieve your keys from our coded lock boxes.

Will I be waiting long at the Airport on my return and where do we meet you?

Once you have your luggage, make your way to the bus lane and call for collection. We will be there to collect you asap, usually within  2- 5 min.

How many people can you drop to and from the airport with the free valet service?

12 passengers is our capacity if you have a lot of luggage or passengers, a suggestion is you drop your passengers/bags off prior to booking in your vehicle.
